The guide is in the software.

The analyst manual is kept in one place: inside VERA (F1). This page says how to open it and what it covers, without describing internal mechanisms.

Open the guide

In VERA, press F1, or the book icon in the bar. The language follows Settings.

The same content is what the assistant can cite when it explains a view. There is no second guide on this site, so the two cannot drift apart.

What the guide covers

Cases and seals, importing an extraction, views (messages, media, map, calls…), search, the assistant, examiner-validated mappings, and settings (including offline maps).

For Cloud: signing in to the account, consent for off-workstation AI, and the credit balance. Full and Trial have no account screen: an offline licence key is enough. Trial is limited to the bundled fictitious case.

Get the software

Request access. After approval, the matching installer (Full, Cloud or Trial) appears in the account. Download links are personal and last ten minutes. Check the SHA-256. Windows may show SmartScreen: More info, then Run anyway.

The installer does not include a world basemap. In the account: Software → Offline maps, download a .mbtiles file, then in VERA: gear → Settings → Map → Import a local file. Without that file, traces with coordinates still appear on an empty Map view.

See it running on a real extraction

Usually thirty minutes on a video call, on fictitious data. On site if you need it, or a conversation first. If VERA does not fit what your service needs, that is a useful answer too.
